The remaining six fight it out for the American Idol
The way the television show, American Idol has been dealing with eliminations in its current season, it seems performance-criterions are now not only unimaginably high, but are also equally rigid for the ever-decreasing number of its contestants.
The forthcoming segment will allow the remaining six contestants to put up a talented fight towards securing a place amidst the lucky five.
This cycle is certainly one to watch for, as it is getting tougher with each and segment, as the show promises to showcase only five contestants, by the time it reaches American Idol season 11 episode 32.
The last night, six contestants had put in their heart and soul into their performances, only hoping to stay above the bottom three (even amidst six participants).
Hollie Cavanagh came up with “Son of a Preacher man”, a performance that as felt by Jimmy wasn’t packed with enough power to prevent her from trickling down into the bottom three.
Though, Jimmy felt that she came out of her shell for the very first time , and that this was her best performance till this point in the show, he also informed her that she needed a lot of hard work to make it out of the bottom three.
On the other hand, Joshua Ledet continued to impress Jimmy, who felt that with each song, Joshua was growing on him, as every song contributed towards making Joshua more relevant.
Elise Testone’s “Let’s Get in On” without her being able to connect to the audience, took her down to the bottom there, while Skylar Laine was complimented as the best performer in the competition, as she is tagged ‘safe’.
American Idol season 11 episode 31 will find Phillip Phillips, and Jessica Sanchez amongst its top six contestants, as Colton Dixon was the one axed , towards the end of the last segment.
