The show is soon going to launch trading cards that will not only feature the images of the past and present contestants of the show, but also the judges and the host of the show. According to the production company FremantleMedia, which produces American Idol TV Show, the trading card publisher Upper Deck, will soon launch a new line of trading cards related to the show.

The 138 card line is supposed to hit the stores on 21st April. And the fun does not end here, as if you are lucky, you might get one of the five random card packs containing six special cards autographed by past Idols. The regular cards will not only feature contestants who were rejected, such as William Hung and Nick Mitchell, but also winners from past like Ruben Studdard and David Cook, in addition to finalists who were quite popular with audiences like Adam Lambert and Jennifer Hudson. So now the fans will be able to not only keep a collection of all their favorite contestants, who have participated in American Idol TV show over the years, but can also trade them with their friends.

American Idol episodes has been launching the careers of aspiring singers who possess the talent but do not have the right platform to present this talent.
