Life and Career- It won’t be wrong to call her multi- faceted woman, as she is a song writer, record producer and a singer. She has a long list of internationally popular songs. These days she is in news for being a part of American Idol. She will be another judge in American Idol- season eight.
She has been nominated several times for Grammy Awards for her song writing skills. Many well known names including Celine Dion, David Archuleta, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus have lent their voice to her words. She has also successfully worked with Latin Artists like Enrique Lglesias, Marc Anthiny, Ricky Martin, Belinda and Carlos Santana.
She also owns a publishing company, “Arthouse Entertainment” which is a resource business for record and music companies seeking compositions, productions, artists and other music related services. Arthouse’s credits include hits like Cassie’s “Me & You”, “We Fly High” by Jim Jones and David Archuleta’s hit “Crush” and many more.
She is co-writer with Paula Abdul, for the UK’s number one single “Spinning Around” performed by Kylie Minogue. She has written many songs for American Idol winners, for their albums.
This is not gonna be her first judging experience, she has also acted as a judge on an “Idol” rip-off show, “The One: Making A Music Star” in 2006. But the show was cancelled after just two weeks due to low ratings. Let’s hope for the best for DioGuardi this time.
