Bucky Covington, a former American Idol contestant recently performed in Sequoyah High School in Madisonville and this concert raised a lot of money. All the proceeds from this concert are going to a charity that is working for good guys like Sgt. Lowell Russell.

We have witnessed Bucky singing amazing songs in American Idol episodes online and he has the ability to blow people’s minds. Now he singing for a good cause is just phenomenal to me. Talking about Sgt. Lowell Russell, he was injured in a violent crash and has suffered number of injuries. He is recovering but don’t you think it is unfair that he lost so much in just one day? Just a day before the accident he was all fit and fine but after the crash he lost many things

If you are the one who is losing it then how will your family deal with the aftermath. It, indeed, is tough in today’s time when a family has pay bills on a regular basis and when the earning member of the family is injured and cannot work, it becomes all the more difficult for the family.

This effort of Bucky Covington is worth praising and needless to say he was able to gather money for the charity using his talent. I am sure his parents are praising his efforts and indeed they are fortunate to have him.

The moment that we were all awaiting in nervous anticipation finally arrived with the judges on last week’s episode of American Idol using their ‘save’ power to bring Jessica Sanchez back into the competition. As Ryan Seacrest divided the top seven Idols into a Hollie Cavanagh group and a Jessica Sanchez group, we were all fooled into believing that we had it all sorted out and perfectly predicted. Thank goodness, for the judges who had saved their ‘save’ for a time like this, when it was really needed. Had they used it earlier on someone who didn’t deserve it, leading to Sanchez’s forced elimination, it would have been an epic disaster that might have even slumped the show’s ratings terribly. Gratefully though, that didn’t happen, and we shall now have to wait and watch, to see which of the finalists is sent back home on American Idol season 11 episode 30. Let’s just hope it’s not Sanchez!

As for the guest performance that left many screaming for an encore, that had the bootylicious Nicky Minaj leaving us stunned with not just her performance, but also her appearance. She opted for a “mermaid stripper” look, donning a provocative pastel-hued outfit, and completed the drama by asking JLo to scoot over, and let her join in the judges.

They say a stitch in time saves the nine!

All the aspiring crooners on world’s greatest singing reality show has so far been impeccable with their precision, be it on-stage or off it. And it seemed all of them deserve to win.

But the rules of the series calls for one winner per season, which in a way snatched away 26-year-old Erika Van Pelt’s chance of seeing herself in the finale.

Now with nine remaining contestants, the axiom mentioned above might go well to some extent because at one point of time, anyone of them will be shown the exit door.

It’s not about saving the nine but seeing the one who would give a tough fight to all of them and get rewarded with the coveted title of America’s most favorite singer.

Last week, unlucky Erika couldn’t even get the special ‘save’ power of the judges. And it invariable shows how things can take unexpected turn even if you had been superb throughout all the previous challenges of the show.

American Idol Season 11 Episode 23 will bring to you the performances of the remaining contestants, and I am sure you would love to take a close look at how well the nine singers stick to the norms set by the show, with some help from the mentors.

Ryan Seacrest was uncannily accurate as he announced last week, “You are hooked live, on American Idol”, only to change it to “You are locked in, live, this week, on American Idol”, moments later. As offensive as the statement might have been to American Idol fans, the fact is that it was truer than most of us would dare to admit.

The show just has that “x-factor” to it (pardon me the irony), which makes it impossible to resist. The previous week of American Idol was replete with all the elements that go into the making of an section that keeps you glued to it right till the end. Even though we might deny it, we all love some controversy on the show, and the confrontation of Jermaine Jones for his past criminal records on the sequence, made for a perfect dose of eyeball popping entertainment!
